NordicTrack RW600

Overview

The NordicTrack RW600 is the mid-range sibling to the RW900, keeping the same dual air-and-magnetic resistance and 26 digital levels but swapping the big rotating display for a more modest 10-inch tilting touchscreen. That smaller screen is the main difference you feel day to day: iFit classes still stream and trainers can still adjust resistance automatically, but the immersive scale of the flagship is gone, and off-machine workouts are harder to follow on the compact panel. The resistance itself is the same pleasant hybrid, quieter than a pure air rower thanks to the magnetic component, with the inertial flywheel smoothing out the catch. As with the RW900, the frame folds upward for storage, which is welcome in a shared room, and the assembled footprint is on the compact side for a connected rower. The familiar caveat applies: the experience is built around iFit, and without an active subscription you are left with a limited manual interface. At its lower price the RW600 is an easier pill to swallow for someone who wants guided rowing but does not need a giant screen, and the folding design and quiet stroke make it practical for everyday home use.
